Seasonal Packhouse Worker

We’re looking for reliable packhouse workers to support grading, packing and presentation of fruit for local and export markets during the 2026 season.

Location: Motueka (Queen Victoria Street & Lyndhurst Drive)
Employment type: Fixed-term / Seasonal
Pay rate: $23.50 per hour
Season: February – August/September 2026 (depending on fruit type)
Hours: Rostered shifts, including early starts, late finishes and some weekends

About the role
We’re looking for reliable packhouse workers to support grading, packing and presentation of fruit for local and export markets during the 2026 season.

Key responsibilities

• Grading fruit to quality and market standards
• Packing fruit accurately to customer specifications
• Stacking and palletising cartons safely
• Cleaning and maintaining work areas
• Following all food safety, export and health & safety requirements

What we’re looking for

• Good attention to detail
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Reliable and able to work at pace
• Legal right to work in New Zealand

• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a diverse team
